V4 ECC Reels Contest

Do you have a passion for gaming or love sharing your holiday adventures? Show off your skills and creativity by participating in our “V4 ECC Reels Contest” on Instagram and win fantastic prizes!

The contest is open to high school students from Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary who are at least 15 years old. To participate, create and publish a Reels video on Instagram, lasting between 30 to 60 seconds, on one of the following topics:

  • My holiday adventure
  • How I play games

Post your Reels on a public profile on Instagram and tag them with the hashtag #V4ECCReels. You can submit up to 3 works (Reels). The submission deadline is September 30, 2024, and the results will be announced on October 4, 2024 (check your DM on that day!)

The contest is open to high school students from Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary who are at least 15 years old.

Yes, each participant can submit up to 3 works (Reels).

The works will be evaluated by a jury appointed by the Organizer, considering creativity, originality, relevance to the topic, and quality of execution.

The contest results will be announced on October 4, 2024, at the Organizer social media channels and Instagram direct message.

By participating in the contest, the participants acknowledge that they have read and accepted the rules.

Award Ceremony

Awards Ceremony during Poznań Game Arena

The V4ECC Educational Contest was divided into two distinct categories, allowing participants to engage in collaborative and individual challenges across various themes.

  1. Team category:
    From February to March 2024, school students were challenged to create video content around themes like new technologies and school communities. Out of many entries, four standout projects—two from Poland and two from Hungary—were nominated to Awards Ceremony.

  2. Individual category:
    In early October, a jury will select the 10 most outstanding entries published on Instagram with the hashtag #V4ECCReels.

The Poznań Game Arena will take place in Poznań, Poland, from October 25th to 27th.

What are the prizes?

Each nominee in both categories will receive an invitation to the Awards Ceremony at Poznań Game Arena, including covered costs of:

  • transportation,
  • accommodation,
  • meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner),
  • and entry tickets to the fair.

The grand prize

The best team project and the top two individual projects will receive material prizes totaling €1,000.

  • €400 in the team category
  • €300 each in the individual category
  • Trophies for the best projects
  • Certificates and gift packs for everyone

ESPORTS COMPETITION
IN ROCKET LEAGUE

NATIONAL STAGE
First, participants engage in open qualifiers in their own country, from which the top four teams advance to the prestigious national final. During the national final, the top three teams will be selected for the international stage of the competition and advance to Group phase or Last Chance Qualifier.

INTERNATIONAL STAGE
The International stage is divided into two tournaments:

  • Group phase is dedicated to the best team selected during the national finals, guaranteeing promotion to the V4ECC Grand Finals. Teams will compete against each other in a round-robin format to determine seeding for the final stage bracket.
  • Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) phase is a single elimination bracket, dedicated to teams placed 2nd and 3rd in the national finals. Only the top two teams will advance to the V4ECC Grand Finals.

The final stage is the V4ECC Grand Final event, where all qualified teams from the previous international stages are invited to participate in the LAN tournament on October 25-27 of 2024, during Poznań Game Arena.

V4 Esports Coalition Cup is completely free of charge. All trips organized for participants qualified for the Final Stage, are also covered by the organizer (transportation, accommodation, food).

It doesn't have to. You can form teams within your school or inter-school, the decision is yours!

Only in exceptional and justified situations, the administration may allow changes to the team.

The total prize pool is €3,000 and gifts from the organizer.

€2,000 for esports tournament, and €1,000 for educational contest.

The competition is dedicated exclusively to students from elementary to high school, that are over 13 years of age. This means that university students are not allowed to participate.

IN VIDEO EDITING

NATIONAL SELECTION
The first stage involves national selection, where participants create short films on topics such as new technologies in schools, inspiring graduates, engaging teachers, or interesting school communities. The national winners then proceed to the second stage – the international selection.

INTERNATIONAL SELECTION
The best submissions will be selected to participate in the Grand Finals, taking place during the Poznań Game Arena – the largest gaming fair in Poland. During this unique event, qualified teams will be tasked with creating short videos documenting selected highlights of the V4 Esports Coalition Cup tournament.

A panel of experts, forming the jury, will assess not only the participants’ technical skills but also their creativity and ability to capture the essence of the event.

This is a remarkable opportunity for young talents to delve into the gaming and multimedia industry, gain practical experience, and establish international connections. Join us to collectively explore the potential of this dynamic sector!

After the completion of the national stage, it will be required to submit a student status for the entity organizing the national stage.

The educational contest requires two-person teams of students to work together and adapt their work to the theme and technical requirements. You are also encouraged to register for the online webinar available on your country sub-page.

There is a form on the dedicated sub-page for your country, where you will be asked, to attach a link to the video you uploaded to YouTube. We will also ask you, to write a few words about your work, and how it relates to the chosen theme.

Entries must be submitted by midnight on 24 March and the results will be announced on the national partners social media channels on 29 March.

Only school students from the Visegrad countries can take part in the V4ECC competition, namely the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary.

The aim of the Polish Esports Association is the professionalization of electronic sports, focusing on the development of grassroots initiatives, as well as the promotion of Poland and Polish enterprises on the international arena. In their activities, the members of the association promote esports as a pretext for comprehensive development of professional competences among young people.

The aim of the Czech Esports Association is to represent the interests of Czech eSports in public institutions, media, sports organizations and international associations. ČAE is a member of all major international associations and takes care of the esports representation of the country.

The Slovak Esports Association governs esports in Slovakia, encompassing organizers, teams, trainers, referees, and gaming industry companies. Decisions involve community input, and cooperation with local authorities and the Olympic committee is strong. Key goals: recognition of esports as a sport, support for young talents, training hubs, and industry standards.

The Hungarian Esports Federation foster competitive gaming, organize tournaments, and advocate for esports enthusiasts. With a strong commitment to inclusivity, they play a pivotal role in Hungary’s esports ecosystem, serving everyone from grassroots participants to elite professionals. HUNESZ is actively empowering the next generation of youth through esports, recognizing the essential role of digital skills in personal fulfillment, employment, social inclusion.

The European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation TRITIA promotes cooperation between local governments in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Its aim is to improve cross-border and interregional cooperation, improve economic and social cohesion, and implement projects for the development of the Polish-Czech-Slovak border area.
